MDRL Printing Policy

All printing in the MDRL is strictly limited to class assignments and academic research projects that require large format or color output.

Please do not use the MDRL to print personal projects such as birthday banners, Greek organization banners, or any other non-academic documents.

All printing using the color laser printer will be fifty cents each charged via bursar and is still limited to class assignments, however, text and black and white printing is no longer restricted. The OIT black and white printers are only six cents per page. The OIT lab on the Library's 3rd floor has a color laser printer for the same fee but without any restrictions.

If you wish to print more than five medium or large format copies, please ask MDRL staff for permission.

All printing is self-service. MDRL staff will not accept files to be printed as a drop-off service.

Departments, Student Organizations, and Administrative Staff Please Take Note

The MDRL cannot accept departmental or administrative print jobs which are not directly related to research, nor can the MDRL be used to print materials for student organizations.

Departments and student organizations should direct their printing requests to CopyCat or a local printing business.
